The Nursing Resource Center (NRC) provides two centralized, customer-focused nursing education services for schools of nursing and clinical agencies. The goal of the NRC is to help regions expand capacity for nurse education through the use of the:
- Centralized Clinical Placement System (CCPS)
- Centralized Faculty Resource Center (CFRC)
Initial development of these services was through the collaborative efforts of the Foundation for California Community Colleges and the California Institute for Nursing & Health Care and was funded by grants from the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation. Both CCPS and CFRC address the nursing shortage and tackle obstacles that limit educational capacity at nursing schools.
The CCPS and CFRC are fully operational, wholly Internet-based and are in use by schools and clinical agencies across the nation. Browse this site for more information on the NRC and its components. You may also visit the NRC sites for the Bay Area, Florida or Texas by using the links at the left, on which you will find past newsletters and presentations.
A Nursing Resource Center can be a part of your solution too. CCPS and CFRC are available as a package for user licensing in all areas of the country. Please send any questions about the NRC or licensing inquiries to info@nursingresourcecenter.org.
